Description:
Located across the highway from the Gulf of Mexico and sand beaches, Cajun RV has long been a place we visit when in the Biloxi, MS area. It is centrally located with a short drive to the local Casinos and restaurants. There is a very active highway at the entrance to the park and a train track at the rear of the park so you will not have a quiet experience, but we found it not too bad and quickly got used to it.
This is a fairly large park with about 130 sites. Pull through and back in sites are available. The sites vary quite a lot in size and distance from your neighbor. The RV park is built on what used to be a double drive in theater many years ago when I was a kid which really helps make the ground level and very stable. The office, community room, showers and bathrooms are located in what used to be the concession stand and projector tower for the Drive in. The showers have been updated and have secure code controlled doors. The bathroom and showers are well maintained and cleaned daily. After 9:00 in the morning there are breakfast items and coffee available in the large community room.
All the lots are grass, sand, or gravel so I do recommend you have an outside rug to reduce the dirt you have tracked in. There are picnic tables at the sites. At our site, the water and power connections were well maintained and worked properly. There is a location at the park to store RV's.
The staff is extremely helpful and seem to genuinely care if you enjoy the park. We were in a bit of a jam due to a potential hurricane back at our base and may have needed to leave early or stay longer depending on the storm. The staff made quick arrangements so that if we had to stay, we would not have to move sites and we did not have to pay anything extra to have the contingency.
We both recommend a stay at Cajun RV Park. Just be aware it is a bit older, but we always enjoy it.
