Description: Booking the reservation was very easy on their WEB site with the ability to pick your location. It is a fairly cheap RV Park located about 1.5 miles off of I-10 in Theodore, AL. This a very convenient location to Bellingrath Gardens and Mobile. The park has a lot of live in RVs and although their WEB site talks about only allowing "nice" RVs, someone must have forgot the rules.
Their WEB site also talks about newly renovated bathhouse and new concrete pads. The concrete pads in a very few of the sites are new with new connections, but they are terribly unlevel. My Class A had to lift the rear wheels off the ground to get level.
As for the newly renovated bathhouse, it was renovated maybe 20 years ago. If there was a Zombie Apocalypse and these were the last working showers and toilets on the planet, I might not use them. They were absolutely disgusting in both filth and repairs. (See the pictures) In the men's room 2 of the 3 toilets worked, but the working ones needed a lot of TLC and cleaning. For the showers. One of the three worked and was in dire need of cleaning and repairs.
The transient area is toward the front of the park close to the main road so you get a lot of road noise. The park has a lot of live in RVs and again since we were at the beginning of the park, every car coming or going went by us at all hours.
The pool was small, but looked maintained. The clubhouse they mentioned, the building was new, but it was locked with nothing inside. There is a very old pavilion close to the Clubhouse, with an old rusted smoker.
Bottom Line: The park is ok for an overnight stop while traveling through. Don't plan on using any amenities as they are in bad shape except the small pool. For other than an overnight, we do not recommend this park.
