Description:

This is our 2nd time staying at this little KOA.  They proudly claim to be the smallest KOA in America and I believe them.  They list having 30 sites, but a few of them are for small RV's.  They also have a very nice Tent camping area.

The staff at this KOA are the absolute best of ANY RV park I have ever stayed at.  They are constantly working on things, cleaning, repairing, and making sure your staff is a good one.

The location is great of you want to head out to Hutchinson Island for a beach day or dining in Downtown Ft Pierce.  The short 2 week stay we did there they had 3 festivals downtown and 2 Farmers Markets.  It is also very close to one of our favorite hole in the wall bars, The Jetty Bar.  Famous for their Rum Runners to go.

Our site was a pull-through and it was very simple to get in and out of.  There is a rear entrance to the park to pull larger rigs in so they can easily line up with the site.

The sites are very level gravel with concrete patios.  Most sites have some shade but not overbearing trees.  Each location has a fire pit.  Ours had a brand new smokeless fire pit.  I hated to soil it up, but we had a nice fire almost every night.

The only negative is one of the positives.  The location.  There is a bit of road noise but it is not horrible.  There is also a train track a few hundred yards away, but again it is not too bad.  We pretty much could ignore that, could be The Jetty Rum Runners.

Bottom Line:

We would definitely return to this KOA and recommend it as a great stopover or as a destination park.
