Description: A true diner located on the south side of Birmingham. They have blue plate like specials and a large all day menu. I went for breakfast with a client. We both had their "protein" breakfast. I always am a little nervous getting scrambled eggs because many restaurants these days use carton "egg" product. Not here. This was a huge plate. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfect in butter. I like mine not dried out and these were moist but cooked. The meat was sausage and bacon. Sausage was a little to mild for me but tasted fine. The bacon was a medium thickness and again cooked perfectly between limp and crispy.
The service was also very pleasant and timely. I was having a breakfast meeting and the waitress recognized that and provided great service with minimal interruptions.
I liked it so much I went back the next morning with my wife.
Bottom Line: I strongly recommend this little diner for breakfast. It is located in south Birmingham down 280.
